About the Baker's 7 Year Old Bourbon
Crafted as part of Jim Beam’s Small Batch Bourbon Collection, Baker’s 7 Year Old was created by Booker Noe and named after his grand-uncle, Baker Beam. Formerly a small batch release, it transitioned to an ultra-premium single barrel expression, ensuring every bottle possesses a unique character. Made using the Beam family’s jug yeast strain and aged for a minimum of seven years in the lower floors of the rackhouses, it yields a classic, full-bodied Kentucky bourbon with high-proof punch and rich oak character.
Food Pairing: Charred ribeye steak, smoked brisket, spicy BBQ ribs, pecans, dark chocolate brownies, and aged cheddar cheese.
Tasting Notes : Deep amber with dark copper highlights. Rich, full-bodied, and robust on the palate with a warm, viscous mouthfeel.
Nose : Complex and aromatic with dominant notes of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, dried fruit, subtle nutmeg, and underlying spice.
Palate : Bold and well-rounded, delivering flavors of sweet vanilla, dark caramel, butterscotch, toasted oak, baking spices, and a hint of charred wood.
Finish : Long, warm, and lingering with notes of sweet oak, subtle rye spice, vanilla, and gentle campfire smoke.
Serve : Best enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water to open up the flavors, or over a large ice cube.
