Avignonesi Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2022 is an expressive, biodynamically farmed organic Tuscan red wine crafted entirely from 100% Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile) grapes grown on estate vineyards. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for two years in large Slavonian oak casks and oak neutral barrels, it displays bright ruby-garnet reflections in the glass. The nose opens with vibrant aromas of dark cherry, pomegranate, wild violet, eucalyptus, and subtle hints of licorice, garrigue, and wood spice. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and harmonious, showing a juicy core of ripe cherry, plum, and citrus peel backed by fine, chalky tannins and energetic, mouthwatering acidity that leads to a long, polished finish.
