Armorik Double Maturation Breton Single Malt Whisky

Armorik Double Maturation Breton Single Malt Whisky is a French single malt produced by Distillerie Warenghem in Lannion, Brittany. Made from organically grown French barley and double-distilled in traditional pot stills, it undergoes its first maturation in locally produced Breton oak casks before a second maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring, it delivers a rich, fruity profile combining mirabelle plum and citrus with honey, vanilla, mature fruit and warming spice.

Food Pairing: Roast pork, duck, aged cheeses, toasted walnuts, fruitcake, orange desserts, shortbread, and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Golden with amber highlights, showing a rounded balance of fruit, honey, spice, vanilla and gentle oak.

Nose: Mirabelle plum and citrus balanced by spice and vanilla.

Palate: Soft and rounded with honey, ripe fruit, gentle woodiness and warming spice.

Finish: Very long, with spice, biscuit and orange marmalade.
