About the Armand Heitz Julienas 2021 750ml
Juliénas is a terroir of schist and blue stone. The same types of soils as on the Brouilly and Py hills. In general, these characteristics call for intense and structured wines. At the estate, I prefer to highlight the finesse and elegance of the terroirs. My winemaking style with short vatting, without punching down and just a few pumping overs, goes very well with this masculine appellation.
