Domaine Denis Mortet Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru Aux Beaux Bruns 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Denis Mortet Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru 'Aux Beaux Bruns' 2022 is an extraordinary, highly coveted red Pinot Noir produced by Arnaud Mortet. Continuing the uncompromising legacy of his late father Denis, Arnaud has refined the estate's style toward breathtaking precision, aromatic elegance, and silky texture while maintaining the signature depth for which the domaine is world-renowned. Sourced from old Pinot Noir vines in the prized Aux Beaux Bruns Premier Cru vineyard—located just below the village on thin clay-limestone soils rich in limestone gravel—the unique terroir grants the wine its signature lace-like finesse and dark fruit structure. Hand-harvested and meticulously sorted, the 2022 fruit underwent gentle vinification with partial whole clusters using indigenous yeasts. The wine matured in fine French oak barrels (approximately 30% to 50% new) before being bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve its brilliant aromatic freshness and mineral clarity.

Food Pairing: Serve on its own as a premier fine wine tasting experience, or pair with roast duck breast with cherry reduction, pan-seared rack of lamb, roasted pheasant, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal French cheeses like Époisses or aged Comté.
