Arette Suave Reposado Tequila

Arette Suave Reposado Tequila is a premium, highly refined artisanal expression crafted at the historic El Llano distillery (NOM 1109), one of the oldest operating distilleries in the town of Tequila. Distilled from estate-grown, 100% Blue Weber agave cultivated in the Jalisco lowlands, the piñas are slow-roasted and fermented in the distillery's original cement vats. What distinguishes the "Suave" line is a much tighter distillation cut, which eliminates harsher alcohols and ensures an exceptionally smooth, elegant profile. The spirit is then aged for 11 months in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, resting just shy of the Añejo classification. This careful maturation yields a beautifully balanced tequila that perfectly bridges vibrant, fruity agave characteristics with the sweet, softening influence of American oak.

Food Pairing: Pork carnitas, chicken mole poblano, grilled mahi-mahi tacos, sharp cheddar cheese, and rich desserts like caramel flan or tres leches cake.

Tasting Notes : Pale golden straw in appearance with a remarkably smooth, clean, and elegant mouthfeel.

Nose : Light and inviting aromas of sweet cooked agave, soft vanilla, warm toasted oak, and a delicate hint of light orchard fruit.

Palate : Exceptionally smooth and slightly sweet. The tighter distillation cut emphasizes a clean mid-palate wash of fresh mint, white pepper, rich vanilla, and ripe fruit notes of apple and plum, all anchored by a persistent roasted agave core.

Finish : Long, soothing, and beautifully balanced, leaving a lingering, elegant warmth of soft baking spice, vanilla, and sweet agave.
