Ardnahoe Bholsa Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardnahoe Bholsa is a richly expressive Islay single malt Scotch whisky named after the dramatic Bholsa caves on Islay's rugged northern coast. Matured predominantly in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 50% ABV, it brings together Ardnahoe's distinctive Islay peat character with generous dried fruit, citrus and nutty sherry-cask richness. Presented without artificial colouring or chill filtration, Bholsa delivers a robust balance of smoke, fruit and warming spice. 

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked brisket, barbecued pork, grilled lamb, mature cheddar, roasted walnuts or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Rich and smoky with red fruit, dried fruit, walnuts and citrus layered over classic Islay peat and warming peppery spice.

Nose: Red fruits and walnuts mingle with fresh orange zest and aromatic peat smoke.

Palate: Raisins, dates and ripe plums provide rich fruit sweetness, underpinned by smoky Islay peat.
