Created for the 2026 Ardbeg Day during the Fèis Ìle festival, this limited-edition Islay single malt marries Ardbeg's signature intense peat smoke with the rich sweetness of Sicilian Marsala dolce fortified wine casks and classic ex-bourbon barrels. Inspired by the glamour of 1960s Italian cinema and the soulful pace of Mediterranean life, "Dolce" delivers a decadent, layered whisky that beautifully balances the rugged, windswept nature of Islay with sun-drenched coastal Italian charm.

Food Pairing: Rich dark chocolate desserts like a flourless chocolate cake, smoked salted almonds, or a savory charcuterie board featuring cured meats, sharp blue cheeses, and briny green olives.

TASTING NOTES

A bold, oily, and chewy mouthfeel with a striking sunset orange appearance, delivering a full-bodied texture that coats the palate beautifully.

NOSE - Fragrant aromas of ripe apricot, plump raisins, and zesty orange marmalade that gracefully mingle with a more muted, nuanced peat smoke, dark chocolate, and a hint of maritime sea spray.
