About the Ardbeg Cask 247 60.7% ABV 700ml
An all-natural single cask selected by Moet Hennessey's Head of Whisky Creation, Dr. Bill Lumsden. Manzanilla Sherry cask No. #247 once held part of the whisky reserved for the Ardbeg Day 2013 edition, 'Ardbog'. Dr. Bill decided to refill this excellent cask and bottle it after eight years of maturation.
With oily, nutty, woodsmoke and musty, herbal aromas, the palate hints at smoked pecan nuts, smoky toffee and brown sugar, as well as spices like pepper, cinnamon and clove. It ends with a long and bittersweet finish that's salty and tarry followed by aniseed, leather and bonfire embers. 670 bottles are on offer globally, available exclusively via Ardbeg Embassies.
60.7% ABV
