Ardbeg Anthology The Beithir's Tale 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky and the third and final release in Ardbeg's Anthology Collection. Matured for 15 years in specially designed bourbon casks that were air-seasoned, heavily toasted and lightly charred, it combines Ardbeg's signature peat smoke with rich sweetness, aromatic herbs and distinctive oak influence. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, The Beithir's Tale concludes the distillery's series of experimental, mythical-inspired malts.

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked brisket, grilled lamb, charred pork, smoked cheddar, roasted nuts or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Oily, smoky and spicy with treacle, creosote and smoked herbs balanced by toasted fruit, raisins, citrus and sweeter vanilla notes.

Nose: Treacle, creosote and smoked herbs lead into toasted apples and raisins, with eucalyptus, menthol, fennel and pine emerging underneath.

Palate: Peat smoke and coffee grounds mingle with currants, sweet lemon balsam and smoked mandarin, delivering a lively smoky intensity.

Finish: Long and lingering with subtle vanilla, smoked butter and persistent gentle smoke.
