Archives Aberlour 12 Year Old 2006 Cask #102 is a single-cask Speyside single malt Scotch whisky independently bottled by Archives as part of its The Fishes of Samoa series. Distilled at Aberlour on April 27, 2006 and bottled on July 9, 2018 after 12 years of maturation, this limited release came from Barrel #102 and was bottled at cask strength of 56.8% ABV, with an outturn of only 194 bottles. 

Food Pairing: Pair with roast pork, aged cheddar, toasted almonds, apple tart, vanilla desserts or buttery shortbread.

Tasting Notes: A robust, oak-driven Speyside whisky combining honeyed malt and orchard fruit with vanilla, coconut, baking spice and warming oak.

Nose: Honey, lemon and toasted oak lead into vanilla, coconut, malt and warming baking spices.

Palate: Full-bodied and sweet with malt, vanilla and sponge cake, developing orchard fruit, pepper and assertive oak.

Finish: Warming and persistent with oak, spice, vanilla and lingering malt sweetness.
