Araucano Alka Carmenere

Alka is the flagship expression of Hacienda Araucano, representing one of the finest examples of Carmenère in Chile. It displays an intense, deep purple colour and an exceptionally complex nose of ripe blackberries, black cherries, and dark chocolate, seamlessly interwoven with distinctive notes of crushed black pepper, tobacco leaf, and a touch of wild mountain herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful yet remarkably elegant, showcasing a plush, velvety texture and firm, ripe tannins. A vibrant line of acidity provides perfect balance to the concentrated dark fruit core, leading to an incredibly long, persistent finish marked by savory spice, roasted coffee beans, and refined mineral nuances.
