Antonelli San Marco Montefalco Sagrantino 2020 is a rich, powerful, and richly structured organic Italian red wine produced in the heart of Umbria. Crafted entirely from 100% Sagrantino grown on hillside vineyards with clay-limestone soils, it undergoes lengthy skin-contact fermentation before extended aging across oak barrels, cement vats, and bottle. In the glass, it displays a deep, dark ruby-red color. The complex nose presents aromas of dark cherry, wild blackberry, citrus zest, oregano, and dried herbs, overlaid with notes of tobacco, mint, and graphite. On the palate, it is full-bodied, robust, and beautifully balanced, offering a core of dense fruit framed by firm, muscular tannins and bright acidity that carries through to a long, savory finish.
