Marchesi Antinori Tenuta Guado Al Tasso Cont' Ugo 2022 is a refined, single-varietal Merlot produced by the Antinori family at their prestigious Guado al Tasso estate in Bolgheri. Sourced from clay-loam alluvial vineyards situated near the Tuscan coast, the grapes are carefully hand-selected and fermented in stainless steel before aging for 12 months in French oak barriques. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red color with inviting aromas of dark cherries, ripe blackberries, damson plum, licorice, Mediterranean scrub, and subtle cedar oak spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, supple, and well-balanced, delivering a lush core of dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a persistent, elegant finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted lamb chops, braised beef short ribs, pork belly, duck breast, mushroom risotto, and aged hard cheeses.
