Marchesi Antinori Badia A Passignano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2021 is a premier single-vineyard Tuscan red wine made entirely from Sangiovese grown on the historic estate surrounding the 10th-century Abbey of Passignano. Aged in French and Hungarian oak barrels, it offers rich aromatics of ripe dark cherry, orange peel, wild violet, and dried rose petal alongside subtle accents of vanilla, sandalwood, and sweet spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, and vibrant, balancing refined, firm tannins with crisp acidity, earthy complexity, and a persistent, polished finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with Florentine T-bone steak, wild boar ragù, roasted lamb with herbs, osso buco, and aged Pecorino cheese.
