First aged in new charred American oak barrels, the bourbon is then finished using a blend of three distinct oak cask types: Hungarian oak, Chinkapin oak, and French oak. This triple-oak finishing process layers complex wood nuances—ranging from sweet baking spices and toasted oak to dark fruit and gentle leather—over a rich bourbon core.
