Amrut PX Sherry Indian Single Malt Whisky is a rich and decadent expression that showcases the "angel's share" intensity of maturation in the high-altitude, tropical climate of Bangalore. This single malt is crafted from selected Indian barley and initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks before undergoing a secondary maturation in authentic Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry butts imported from Spain. The resulting whisky is bottled without chill-filtration at a robust 46.2%, offering a deep, mahogany hue and an opulent bouquet of sticky dates, figs, and dark chocolate, balanced by Amrut’s signature spicy malt. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, featuring layers of honeyed fruitcake, roasted nuts, and vanilla, leading to a long, warming finish with lingering notes of sweet molasses and oak spice.
