About the Amarone Classico Riserva La Mattonara 2011
A powerful and exceptionally refined Amarone Riserva crafted from old-vine fruit in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Intense aromas of dried cherry, rose petals, cinnamon, dark fruit, and warm spice unfold into a rich, full-bodied palate layered with ripe black cherry, dried fruit, savoury notes, and integrated oak. Velvety tannins and remarkable concentration lead to a long, complex, and elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Braised beef, venison, aged Parmigiano-Reggiano, wild mushroom risotto, and dark chocolate desserts.
