About the Aldegheri Pietramara Passito Veneto 2016
An appassimento-style wine from hillside vineyards in Verona, Pietramara shows deep ruby with garnet hues. Aromas of cherry under spirit, dried fruit, and tertiary oak notes lead to a rich, concentrated palate with smooth tannins and a long, warming finish.
Food Pairing: Roasted meats, Florentine steak, spiced charcuterie, aged hard cheeses, and rich braised dishes.
