About the Albea Gran Maestoso Primitivo 2021 750ml
Primitivo from contract growers in 2 areas of Puglia: the southern end of Bari with more calcareous soil, and Taranto an area with deep, moisture-rich soil. Vinified in a temperature-controlled stainless tank and aged 6 months in French barrique.
Aromas of black cherry, raisin, blackberry with bitter chocolate, tea, liquorice spice on the nose. Rich and full on the palate with a juicy black fruit core, ripe tannin, good acidity, good length on the finish filled with spice and dark fruit.
