Strathcona Spirits Ahoy! Rum Soak Dreamland Whisky is a four-year-old Canadian high-rye whisky from Strathcona Spirits in Alberta and release #06 in the limited Dreamland Whisky series. Made from 85% rye and 15% hard red wheat, the whisky spends three years in virgin oak quarter casks before extended maturation in high-hogo Jamaican rum casks. Bottled at 44.44% ABV, it combines classic Canadian rye spice and cereal sweetness with the distinctive tropical, nutty and funky character contributed by the Jamaican rum casks.

Food Pairing: Jerk chicken, glazed pork belly, smoked ribs, grilled pineapple, aged cheddar, roasted nuts, banana bread, and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Traditional Canadian rye spice and cereal sweetness layered with fresh and roasted tropical fruits and distinctive funky, nutty character.
