Adelphi Selection Smogen 10 Year Old 2013 Cask #58 Swedish Single Malt Whisky is a limited single-cask Swedish single malt from Smögen Distillery, selected and bottled by independent bottler Adelphi. Distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 at 10 years old, the whisky matured in Cask #58, a first-fill bourbon barrel. The cask produced only 232 bottles at a natural cask strength of 58.1% ABV, with the whisky bottled without chill filtration or added colouring.

Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, charred pork belly, grilled lamb, aged cheddar, smoked almonds, dark chocolate, and buttery shortbread.

Tasting Notes: Straw-coloured and intensely characterful, combining savoury peat smoke, maritime character, oily malt, herbs and spice with the richness of its first-fill bourbon maturation.

Nose: Wet barley, hessian, fireplace smoke, fresh mint, bark, savoury rosemary, sea spray and earthy farmyard notes.

Palate: Tobacco leaf, leather, oily grain, Szechuan peppercorn, bitter lemon and flinty, smoky notes.

Finish: Vivid, long and rich, with the whisky's smoky and savoury character lingering.
