ABK6 Cognac VSOP Chinese Year of Horse

ABK6 Cognac VSOP Chinese Year of Horse is a limited-edition Single Estate Cognac created by Domaines Francis Abecassis to celebrate the 2026 Chinese New Year and the Year of the Horse. The third release in ABK6's Lunar New Year collection, following Dragon in 2024 and Snake in 2025, it was crafted by Francis Abecassis and Cellar Master Frederic David from eaux-de-vie selected for their aromatic intensity and matured in some of the estate's oldest casks. The result combines a supple texture with rich fruit, honey, sweet spice and toasted oak.

Food Pairing: Roast duck, glazed pork, charcuterie, aged Comte, toasted walnuts, almond pastries, Tarte Tatin, gingerbread, orange desserts, dried fruit, and dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Deep gold with old-gold highlights, displaying a supple, harmonious and aromatic character with a balance of fruit, sweetness, spice and mature oak.

Nose: Candied fruit and honey with sweet spices and marzipan, complemented by rich aromatic depth.

Palate: Silky and balanced with freshness and richness, developing gingerbread, orange peel and toasted oak.

Finish: Long and precise, with lingering fruit, warming spice and toasted oak.
