Aberfeldy 21 Year Old Argentinian Malbec Wine Cask Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky crafted at the Aberfeldy Distillery in the Highland region of Scotland. Initially matured for over two decades in a combination of re-fill barrels and re-fill hogsheads, this limited-edition release was subsequently finished for around eight months in hand-selected Finca Ambrosia Malbec wine casks from the Gualtallary valley in Mendoza, Argentina. The finish infuses Aberfeldy's signature honeyed and fruity malt character with deep berry tones, soft tannins, and dark chocolate notes.

Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb, dark chocolate tarts, charcuterie featuring cured meats, and aged Gouda or Blue cheese.

Tasting Notes : Deep amber with reddish copper highlights. Offers a smooth, rich, and velvety mouthfeel with full-bodied depth on the palate.

Nose : Ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum aromas layered with heather honey, toasted oak, vanilla, and subtle baking spices.

Palate : Rich and fruity with flavors of dark berries, sweet malt, honey, cocoa powder, soft tannins, and gentle oak spice.

Finish : Long, warm, and lingering with notes of dark fruit, cocoa, sweet honey, and refined oak.
