Aberfeldy 15 Year Old Cadillac Semillon Cask Finish

Aberfeldy 15 Year Old Cadillac Cask Finish is a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky crafted by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod. Initially aged in re-fill and re-charred bourbon casks, it underwent a finishing period in French oak casks that previously held Cadillac, a sweet dessert wine from the Bordeaux region made primarily from Sémillon grapes. This process enhances Aberfeldy's signature honeyed malt profile with opulent layers of ripe stone fruit, floral honey, and refined oak complexity.

Food Pairing: Crème brûlée, fruit tarts, blue cheese, roasted pork tenderloin with apricot glaze, and foie gras.

Tasting Notes : Deep golden amber in appearance with a smooth, rich, and velvety mouthfeel.

Nose : Ripe yellow peaches, dried apricots, heather honey, candied lemon peel, and soft floral notes with gentle oak spice.

Palate : Creamy and indulgent, featuring flavors of honeyed cereal, orange blossom, poached pears, vanilla, and subtle baking spices.

Finish : Long, sweet, and elegant with lingering citrus zest, honeyed fruits, and a delicate oak warmth.

Serve : Serve neat in a Glencairn glass or with a few drops of pure water to open up the delicate fruit and floral aromas.
