Chateau Malecasse Le Moulin Rose De Malescasse 2020

A sunny vintage with excellent ripening conditions. A garnet-purple colour, Cuvée Moulin 2020 has an intense nose of elderberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, blueberries and fresh raspberries, supported by a light, mellow woodiness. On the palate, the wine reveals great tension and fine tannins, with a good tannic structure and a long finish.

Pair it with roast, grilled or slow-braised lamb, veal chops, steak, roast duck, confit de canard, roast or pot-roast guinea fowl, black rice, brown or green lentils, roast root vegetables, or cheeses such as Comté, aged Gouda and Manchego.

Wonderful intense aromas of juicy red fruits, herbal, grilled green pepper, and spice. The palate is medium-bodied, with good energy and concentration. The juicy fruits and green pepper carries through on the palate, with red cherry, cassis, dried cranberries, and tobacco. Long and complex, with good aging potential.
