About the Edradour 10 Year Old 2013 Ibisco Bourbon Cask Strength
Edradour 10 Year Old 2013 Ibisco Bourbon Cask Strength is a limited Highland single malt Scotch whisky presented in Edradour's distinctive Ibisco decanter. Distilled in September 2013, this small-batch expression matured for 10 years in first-fill bourbon casks before being bottled in November 2023 at a natural cask strength of 60.4% ABV. Drawn from eight bourbon casks and limited to 1,745 bottles, it showcases Edradour's rich, full-bodied spirit alongside layers of vanilla, honeyed fruit, citrus, nuts and warming oak spice.
Food Pairing: Pair with aged cheddar, roasted almonds, apple tart, vanilla crème brûlée, buttery shortbread or caramelized pork.
Tasting Notes: Rich and powerful with bourbon-driven vanilla, honeyed orchard fruit and citrus layered with nuts, caramel, warming spice and seasoned oak.
Nose: Sweet vanilla and honeycomb mingle with orchard fruit, walnut, raisins, citrus zest and subtle tobacco.
Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated, with honeycomb, clementine and creamy vanilla joined by caramel, toasted nuts and warming oak spice.
Finish: Long and warming, leaving lingering vanilla, citrus, honeyed malt, toasted oak and peppery spice.
