A 1997 Linkwood single malt, bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange by indie bottler Signatory Vintage in October 2022, that was matured in a single hogshead for 25 years. Aromas of cream-filled pastries, apples, pears, kiwi, vanilla and buttered bread fill the nose, followed by notes of boiled sweets, crisp apples, poached pear, sweet orange and baking spice throughout the palate.
Distilled in 1997 this Linkwood matured 25 years in a Bourbon Hogshead before bottling at 56.6%. 3 sister casks to this whisky have all scored 88+ points!
