Mount Riley 17 Valley Pinot Noir 2023 is a single-vineyard red wine produced from Mount Riley's Cromarty vineyard, located in the Southern Valleys subregion of Marlborough. Crafted primarily from Pinot Noir clone 115 with a smaller proportion of clone 777, the handpicked fruit was cold soaked, fermented with wild yeast including a portion of whole clusters, and aged for ten months in French oak barrels. It presents a deep crimson color and complex aromas of dark cherry, red fruits, spice, and savory earthiness. The palate offers a concentrated structure framed by fine-grained tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, lingering finish.
