Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition #56 Benrinnes 13 Year Old 2012 Single Malt Scotch

Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition #56 Benrinnes 13 Year Old 2012 Single Malt Scotch is an independently bottled Speyside single malt distilled at Benrinnes in 2012 and matured for 13 years in first-fill and refill Oloroso sherry butts. Bottled by Signatory Vintage at the traditional 100 Proof strength of 57.1% ABV, this robust release combines Benrinnes' weighty malt character with rich sherry-cask influence and is presented without chill filtration or added colour.

Food Pairing: Pair with slow-roasted beef, glazed pork belly, mature cheddar, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, or a rich fruitcake.

Tasting Notes: Rich and full-bodied with layers of dried fruit, dark chocolate and concentrated sherry sweetness, balanced by warming spice, roasted nuts and structured oak.

Nose: Deep fig and dates lead into cocoa, cinnamon and clove, with dark chocolate and a subtle leathery richness.

Palate: Date syrup and cherry jam develop into espresso, dark chocolate and burnt sugar, accented by cracked black pepper, gingerbread and warming spice.

Finish: Long, dark and warming with cocoa, oak tannin, lingering spice and touches of black tea and gentle smoke.
