We felt it was important, as we close in on the final edition of our Whisky Sponge series, to shamelessly rip off the old classic licensed Glen Grant label design one last time (although, we reserve the right for it to not actually be the last time.) 

As such, we felt this single 1^st fill barrel of 2003 Glen Grant was the perfect pick for Edition No.98 of Whisky Sponge. It’s creamy, mature, fatty and rich in a way that harks slightly back to older, classical era Glen Grant distillery character. Anyway, it’s 20 years old, gorgeous and we love it! We’ve bottled it with a faffy oval label and a couple of degrees reduction to 57.1% so we could put 100 proof on the label as well. Although, the whisky also works perfectly at this bottling strength! 

This is another in the final run of Sponges that celebrates and shows off distilleries and flavour profiles that we love and that inspire us.  

Now, please buy a bottle, open it and proudly sip it with the kind of pensive, nuanced reverence that only a member of the out of touch, Western, metropolitan, Farage-baiting liberal elite such as yourself can truly summon!
