Purplish red in color, the nose presents a wonderful mixture of black fruits such as plums and blackcurrants. Notes of black tea, and hints of aromatic herbs commonly found in the Mediterranean like rosemary and thyme, lead to a structured mouthfeel with tannins that are denser and more elegant reflecting the style of the vintage all culminating with a salinity representative of a classic Bolgheri style.

Lots of cabernet franc character with currant bush and fresh herbs like basil and lemongrass. Medium to full body, with firm tannins and a savory finish. Some tomato leaf and currant undertones. A blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot.

Tobacco, licorice and cedar aromas and flavors frame the core of black currant and black cherry fruit in this intense, vibrant red. An iron element emerges too, as this builds to the lingering finish, with fine balance and a lingering aftertaste. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Best from 2025 through 2038.
