Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Consistently one of Okanagan's top chardonnays, Tantalus' flagship chardy is primarily estate fruit, based on their 2006 and 2013 plantings, and by a vineyard up the road, also planted in 2013. The fruit (clones 95,96,76 and 589) was whole bunch pressed and native fermented in barrel and puncheons (20-30% new) where it underwent partial MLF, and 10 months on lees prior to bottling. Confident and complete, with interwoven layers of lemon, light cream, stones, and subtle toasted nuttiness, this streams along the palate with an effortless acidity.
